Hyena tongues are like very sharp cheese graters--that's how they get the bones so clean. In the back, a black-backed jackal waits patiently (or impatiently...who can tell) - Hyena den. Built out of a huge old termite mound. The pups are about 1 month old, and will lose their brown coloring in favor of spots in about another 2 months.
